Glimpses of Goodness

I'm Sandy . . . daughter of God (and my Mom, Dad and Dave), best friend of Jesus, wife of Neal, Mom to Abby and Caleb, doggie mom to Frisco, fortunate friend to many. I'm a lover of ice cream, nature, camping, watching football, reading, warm weather, dark chocolate etc. I love stories -- reading them, telling them, living them.

In the last few decades I've struggled with physical illness, anxiety and living in the midst of hard. I merely survived for a long time until God challenged me to begin looking for the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living. Here on earth we face trouble after trouble but, if we find the glimpses of goodness, and begin to fix our eyes on them, we can also find joy. I believe that when we are vulnerable and share our hard with others it sets them free to share too. And we can all find joy in the glimpses of goodness we see around us.
