Onward to Glacier

We said goodbye to Coeur d'Alene and headed 4 hours east towards West Glacier, Montana. On the way we stopped for a lunch break at Kootenai Falls and Swinging bridge. It was our first glimpse of that glacier blue water I saw so many pictures of.


After lunch we continued our drive and got to our next destination (with half of the back seat filled with our Costco food) . . . the West Glacier KOA. We rented a camper through Outdoorsy and the owner met us there and got us set up. We checked out the campground and then headed to Lake McDonald for the start of our 4 days in Glacier National Park.
